A successful clean-up of Ard Fraoigh was carried out by residents on Saturday 18th April to tidy up after the spring.
We had a good turnout on the day of people who contributed their time and effort. All the grass verges were cut and bushes and shrubs were pruned. We also collected up all the rubbish that had collected over the winter. All the grass cuttings, weeds, prunings and rubbish was bagged up and collected by Galway City Council the following week.
Thank you to everyone who turned out and contributed to the effort, including those who cut some of the green areas.
